Default 5.0 turbo?

So after seeing how responsive the 5.0 mustang was to hellion's twin turbo kit and that turbo charged 5.0's can be made very streetable, has anyone heard anything about a potential turbo for the 5.0 f150? This would be something I'd be interested in.

I've been awaiting to hear their input on the procharger kit, but just can't help to think of the potential a turbo would be on one of our trucks.

just make your own kit and put the turbo where the air box is on our trucks. All you have to do is flip the headers upside down and fabricate and up pipe to go to the turbo. Then have a downpipe come off the turbo running to the other side of the engine bay. And out the back by the oil pan. Intercooler piping should be very easy since there's tons of space with the Efans.

Lol I had enough fun with customization with my last truck. I'd be looking more for a complete high quality kit

Sounds easy.. too bad all them stock parts will make the extra 4 or 5 psi useless. will have to upgrade the engine for the psi and get a tune or your injectors and stuff will be off.

Running a small AR ball bearing turbo with proper tuning would easily light.

Tuning is what makes or breaks a turbo setup.

Hellion twin kit will fit the F150 with some mods. Its a great kit and really wakes up the 5.0, after seeing the kit it really makes me wish I had bought the 5.0. With any turbo there is a slight lag but the twin kit is hardly noticeable and once it spools it makes eyes widen very quickly

You would need a good tuner like Eric Brooks at Brooksspeed. He's tuned my vehicles and does miracles.
www.brooksspeed.com - I highly recommend him
