5.0 with race bullet/ 14"magnapack - Ford F150 Forum

havnt found any videos. has anyone tried this with the front resonator in tact, Had a dynomax race bullet dropped in place on my 06 ram hemi with the two stock ressies and it was nice, no drone and only loud when you put your foot into it. wondering what it would sound like on the 5.0

the 5.0 is a dronin MO FO.
I bought a used raptor exhaust with a flowmaster 10 series single chamber inplace of the stock muff. put it on with the resonator and it STILL drones like crazy during normal acceleration. it hits the drone spot just before it shifts and my 30-40 minute drive home has been giving me a headache pretty much every day this week (did it monday). granted its not what you are asking about, but just giving my results on a loud muffler and a 5.0.

Flowmasters and other chambered mufflers are known to drone a lot more than straight-through designs like magnaflow, Borla, etc, especially a single chambered 10 series. I think the 5.0 with magnapack will be a nice combination and on the highway will only drone under load (like towing or going uphill).
