I am going with the Fabtec. I like Rancho but I can't find anywhere that It includes shocks with their kit. Seems strange and I assume they would but all the pictures I see of the rancho kit is everything without new shocks. Even the website it was an option for the shocks. Is this because maybe it just comes with Ranchos "basic" shock setup? For the same money I can go with the Fabtec basic kit and know it comes with them...plus I'd like to try and get it in blue lol

What is it like with the bigger AT tires on the truck? Is it loud going down the road? How does it handle and drive? Looking for what is the difference from the stock tires to bigger ones.

They are louder but nothing crazy, not sure where you live and if this helps but it's about the same loudness as driving winter tires in the summer.

Handling is the same at speed, between 1-2km I feel the nubs on the tire.

Go Rancho! I love my 4" lift, I have almost 30,000 miles on it and zero complaints.

Yeah, it freaked me out at first when I was stopping. At the low speeds, I can definitely feel those grips. I had to check a couple times to make sure the tires weren't rubber on the front arm b/c I barely had enough room to fit a finger between the tire and arm.

Yeah, after the lift and tire install I though I messed something up during the installation.

kidastra I live near Atlanta. But I know about driving with winter tires. I'm from Ohio and we did that back in the day. What tire set up do you have?

Can anyone measure from top of roof to ground? I have a little under 9" before I hit the top of my garage door opening with a stock FX 4 and 20s. I would like to get the rancho so I'm looking for rancho truck heights. If I can't get in the garage I'll just have to settle with a leveling kit. I'm reading you rancho guys are getting close to 5" with this kit. Looks like it may put me in the garage and have 1" to spare. That's really close

Thanks
Chris
