Anything you would've done different? Or are you more than happy with the 4.. Plus a 4 might be more practical for garage purposes...

Not lift wise. I love the Rough Country and you can't beat the price. I got slightly more lift from the add a leaf than I wanted so I am in search if a 2.5" rear block to replace the blocks I have now to drop me somewhere between 1/2 to 1" in the back. The Rough Country comes with an angled 2" block and you put the stock block on top of it netting roughly 3 1/4" and with the add a leaf I got about 1" too much. But if your not doing the add a leaf your all set

Jmeo your truck looks great! I have a couple questions about the rough country lift as I am considering it for my 09 Fx4. Do you know if stock wheels will work with the lift? Is there much cutting required for the install?

Im happy to see another Companies 4in Kit being reviewed like that. I did read allot on the Rough Country as well. Its a great kit. Adding to go up to 6in is a really good option to have and the required spacers and blocks really shouldnt cost much at all. I know I dont have that option with Rancho. Thanks again for the review.

I believe the stock wheels fit with no problem. I would like to say without a doubt yes but if I were you I'd just fire off a quick phone call to them. The only cut for the install is to the the crossmember just below the front differential to allow room for it to drop. I believe any brand kit requires this because the differential has to come down. I had to trim the plastic under the bumper in front of the front wheels because if a slight tire rub. That is all dependent on what size tires and rims you run. I'm running 22's with Toyo Open Country MT 12.5x35 with a rim offset of +30

I believe that you are correct. I dont know of a kit that does not cut in that area. As well as some trimming due to tire size
