3.5L Ecoboost 0-60 Times with Level and Larger Tires?
Last installment to gather more information in my fight with Ford over decrease in power and performance after timing change replacement. I have 33" tires, 3.73 gearing and it's lifted 3" in the front and 2" in the back.
My best 0-60 time since they changed the timing chain is 8.3 seconds. Before timing chain replacement I had no problem getting it around 6.5 - 6.8 seconds without trying too hard. What is your best time with bigger tires and some lift? Please include gear, tire and lift info too. Thank you.

Wow, 116 views and no information. I thought for sure everybody would no their 0-60 times, that is one of the first things I wanted to know when I picked up the truck having read about how fast the Ecoboosts were!

I guess you guys are totally missing the point. Even with my slightly bigger tires, original tires were 32", my current ones are 32.83 I was getting from 0-60 between 6.5 and 6.8 seconds. After changing nothing but the timing chain my times have dropped to a best of 8.3 seconds and the truck struggles to pull a 4000 boat & trailer.
This is about proving to Ford they messed something up changing the timing chain out. I've lost a ton of performance and power since they changed the timing chain and all they can tell me is the damn computer says nothing is wrong so as far as were concerned there's nothing wrong. Turbos are working fine, I suspect when they put it back together they got a cam or two of time with the crankshaft but they won't check it because the damn computer says nothing is wrong. I also went from 15mpg in my daily driving to 11mpg and yes I was getting the 15mpg for over 40,000 miles with the "bigger" tires. I didn't know it would be so much trouble asking a question that is easy to get information for but I guess I was wrong, thanks for the help.

Isn't there a break in period with a part like that? I would think after initial install it would be somewhat tight until a few thousand miles. ..idk though, I could be totally wrong,
I would think until its broken in it would possibly effect mpg, power?

Then it would run the same way brand new and it didn't. Either way, the timing chain was installed in February so I've put probably about 4,000 miles on it since then and it's not getting any better.

You want to prove ford screwed up, pull the front cover off, set cylinder 1 to tdc and take a picture of the timing marks. If its off then they screwed up. Theres 4 chains in the 5.0, I'm sure the eco is similar so plenty of room for error.

That's what I want them to do, actually check their work since the problem didn't occur until I took it to them for repair of the timing chain. The problem is the "computer" isn't kicking out any timing errors so it must be in time. They won't perform the work without me agreeing to pay for the work if the timing's not off. I'm not going to pay $1000 for them to check their damn work. If I have to I'll have a local mechanic I trust perform that work if I can't get a second Ford dealer to check it. I also have a friend who might have the experience to help me out. First I want to have a second Ford dealer take a look at it.

Less than 7 seconds with larger tires and no tunes?? Wow. I must have the laziest ecoboost out there. Barely got below 7 seconds with a tune. And JUST barely, I'm talking 6.99. You must have a factory freak.
