I had my truck in a little while ago because i was upgrading to the new f150 trailer tow mirrors. these are the ones that look like the superduty mirror. not the 2011 ones they had for the f150. when the gentleman was drilling the hole in the door molex connector something happened. and now my passenger window won't go up using the driver side door control. The passenger side works fine. but the driver side can only go down. even when i hit the button to go up it still goes down. they tried changing the switch and the problem is still there. we tested all the connectors and wires and there isn't a short or a bad ground anywhere.

My next line of thinking is that when he was drilling 2 wires came into contact and messed up something in the computer. Now my question start. first off which computer would control the windows. is it the ECU or the BCM. or is there another computer i'm not aware of. when i went through the wiring diagrams it didn't even show any computers hooked up to this system. however the mechanic said there is a computer for the auto up feature.

The next question would be is there a way to reset the truck computers that may trick the system into working properly.
