Default Universal power steering fluid

Hello all new to the forum, thanks in advance. I was in a pinch and added Universal power steering fluid, about a pint. Found out after im supposed to use motorcraft mercon V atf, did i just screw up big time? Its been a couple of days and no problems so far

2010 f150 5.4L

I guess it depends on exactly what you put in there, you didn't explicitly identify it.

It's likely not an issue. It's just hydraulic fluid that meets certain lubrication, anti-corrosion, and stability requirements.

If you're worried about it, flush and refill the system.

Thanks for the advice, I added a signature with the info I know. Let's see if it works. This is the fluid I added, unfortunately the bottle is gone so it took me a while to find a photo of it online and no photos of the back that would have more information but I can see that it was 12 ounces so it's even less than a pint. Also, the reservoir currently has the original ATF red hue to the fluid in it even though this stuff was neon blue.

Ha, I ended up finding the bottle. I didn't throw it away. It says "Contains: Petroleum Oil and Additives" That's it. Well, it's been a week now, still no problems. Going to fill it with the right Mercon V ATF fluid now.
