This 4x4 SuperCrew completed the 0-to-60-mph sprint in 6.1 seconds, the 5.0 we tested took 6.7, and a 411-hp 6.2-liter needed 6.3. None of those times is slow, and it should be noted that you can’t really go wrong with the 3.7-liter six, which hits 60 in 7.6 seconds.
Obviously towing is a different story, but as far as empty performance, that's awesome

Ok there's something wrong here then with 275/70/18 bfg ta/ko's roush exhaust and cai on regular gas ( 3.55 ) the best I can get without a passenger is like 7.8 averages are like 8 seconds? This is a 2wd take off in automatic as I dont want to launch in 4wd due to strain on drivetrain.. Anyone have a theroy on why my trucks so slow? ... No getting wheel spin ethier traction on or off I can punch it to floor dead stop it will chirp them at about 10 mph with some wheel hop?

@NickBottoms
The same way some trucks are getting over 20mpg highway and some are getting 15, It seems like there is an inconsistency in performance

That is fast ! Damn
I don't even want to know the 0-60 on my 03, probably about 9 seconds, it tows great though

workin for parts!!!
Tuned, yes..But that adds a maybe 10-15 hp?..I'm still at a 45-50 hp disadvantage over a stock 5.0...I'm still running the 87 oct as well. Just seems like the 5.0 should be alot faster.

Lulz, programmers that show 0-60 and 1/4 mile time are as about as helpful as a one legged man in an *** kicking contest. Take it to the track bet it doesn't break 15.4.....none of those are accurate. Especially mph
