There is alot of similar components like the little non functional front bumper pads.

What would the supposedly aluminum body do to the cost?

Damn the cost... They are about to sacrifice safety for weight reduction... They are making a super-sized prius...

Does the front end look like its taller/"thicker" to anyone else? Maybe it's just the camouflage?

Wonder what FoMoCo would have to stay about the guy giving the finger? Not good for PR.

I notice many things, most already mentioned, but the one thing that stood out for me when the Atlas was revealed was the active wheel shutters. Those are obviously missing.

I really like the rear window. All smooth looking and more modern.

Pretty sure I can still see rear leaf springs and frame rails. No unibody? :-)

Yeah. Ok, Sure. Thats why countless German cars are moving to large amounts of aluminum construction. The new Range Rover is almost all Aluminum, no issues there.

The Audi A8 was the first car to ever receive a double 5 star crash rating from the Federal Government, a car constructed completely of aluminum .
