Default 2014 Value

In the opinion of the forum, are the 14's going to lose their value once the 15's are more readily available? Would a guy be an idiot to buy a 14 either new or used today at current market prices? I know this is kind of open ended, but I think you all know what I am getting at.

TIA!

Any vehicle loses value once you drive it off the lot. The '14 will lose more because it is already considered a year old. That being said, you should also get a lot better deal on a '14. The '15's are more expensive and I don't think dealers are too inclined to give much off. Which one do you like better.

I bought on Halloween. I could have waited for a '15 but I like the '14's better plus I got a killer deal so I got a '14.

Buy what you like.

I would go with a new '14. They are giving killer deals, I personnal hate buying used, and it's not going to lose as much value as you think. The milage wear and tare all make a huge difference in resale no matter what the year.

The '14s will without a doubt lose some value when '15s become more readily available, but no truck is going to retain its original value long term. I would say you can get a killer deal on a '14 right now, and if that's what you like buy one. If you really like the '15s then order one of those!

Same here, I saw the 15s and liked the 14s more so I went with that.

I traded my 12 FX4 for a 14 King Ranch because right now there's way to many smoking deals going on. Plus I didn't want to deal with new body style issues like we did with my wife's 15 Tahoe.

Like funmoney stated. All vehicles loose their value. Test drive both and pick the one that you like the most.
