Default Remote start - NO heat in "auto"

Just had the 100 series installed. I have heat/ac set to auto mode on the 4" display, 32 degrees out but heat/blower won't run. It works fine in "last setting" but not "auto". Any ideas? Thanks

I've had mine for two weeks now. Mine comes on but not always on the vent directions I'd use or prefer. I'd imagine the dealer installed / activated it for you. I'd ask them if you don't get any answers here.

As far as I know, the auto climate on remote start is not available on the XLT models, even though it shows up in the menu. I remember going through that on my 2011 XLT. FX4 does it no problem. Its been a while though, so I'm sure someone can confirm/deny this.

It's working fine on my 2013 XLT and is availble in the menu functions. As I said and others have said the vents it choose to blow the warm / cold air are odd to say the least. I haven't figured out the pattern it uses.

From my owners manual there are 2 scenarios based on if you have manual or auto climate control.

Manual climate --- when cold outside, heat is set to max on floor/defrost.

Auto climate -- when cold outside, heat is set to 72 degrees.

I read another thread with some detailed info on the operation of the system. If I remember correctly, even in auto setting for my manual climate control, when temp is between 40 and 75 it will operate based on the last setting.

I just want some damn heat, not really concerned even if it comes out different vents each time !!

On page 81 of the manual, it says:

REMOTE START CLIMATE OPERATION (IF EQUIPPED)

I would have thought whatever your dials are set to would be what blows when you remote start. ie if you have the highest fan setting with the highest heat setting, it will blow hot air regardless of the temperature.

I wonder if it has to do with run time? Not that it won't work on a different time but if the water temp has to come to a certain temp before it turns on the fan? Maybe try it when you know the water temp is normal. when you get back from work, roll down all the windows so it get cold inside, then sit in the truck and remote start it. If it comes on then maybe the run time has to be increased if not back to the dealer. Nothing but a guess here guys.

here is what i have been told
when outside temp is under a certian temp .. blower wont kick in full blask cause its COLD out .. so system needs to warm up then it kicks in

when its too hot out ac will kick in .. but not soon as you start car cause system needs to fire up and get cool/cold..

with re : to autostart systems i have a plat so i can set what i want and it works.. i have been told some systems it has to do with trim package you have and or further options for that year/trim package

doesnt really help .. but i tired
