Default 2014 fx4

Well, made an offer on a 2014 FX4 5.0. If they accept the 2010 Lariat will be leaving. Seems like a good time to buy and all. Love the look of the FX4 and is optioned a bit better than mine (sunroof, nav, HID). Only thing I'm skeptical about is the black interior. I've always been partial to the adobe. But we shall see!!!!

part of me still wishes I had gone with an FX4. I like the lighter interior of my King Ranch but the FX is just so much easier to modify.

I hope things went well with your offer. I traded in our 2012 for a 2014, and it was a huge improvement. Quieter (by a lot).....sync much improved, better speakers, transmission programming sooooo much better.....you will love it, I am sure.

Did not accept as of yesterday. I did reach out to another dealer and made them the same offer as well. I absolutely refuse to give my truck away and if I can't get a fair deal on the trade, I will continue to drive it.

In the midst of negotiations myself on new 2014 FX4...loaded up black crew cab...MSRP $54K and so far best offer is about $44K before taxes. It's actually less but I removed my trade for apples to apples comparisons. I think I can do better.

Good luck with your offer, but whether you can do better actually depends on what they are offering you for your trade. If, for instance, the used car manager wants to buy your trade for $28,000, and they are offering you $29,500 in the closing booth, then that is another $1,500 you need to subtract from the price of the new truck.
The used car manager is not likely to budge on what he wants your truck in his inventory for. Any over allowance on that amount comes out of the new car manager's bottom line..............but, I'll bet you knew that.
