Completely agree. Aggrevates me to no end wasting my time dealing with stuff that A) should be fixed right the first time or B) never happen in the first place. I value my time far too much to be clocking in at the dealership all the time.

From my experience, 80% of the time the dealership says "we can't feel the bounce", or "truck is performing as intended". Guess what I'm trying to say is.... when a dealership is willing to swap stuff out to fix your issue.. you're doing pretty well.

Is it frustrating taking the truck to the dealership 7 times. YES. But at least they are willing to replace stuff, and are acknowledging the problem, which means your 80% of the way there. Next is just fixing it.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Thanks for all the responses. Just came back from the dealer again. After a 4 hour wait they are now telling me that Ford said it's normal. I'm calling Ford to get a rep down here. By the way they said they had ruled out the rims before.

start documenting everything, get paperwork from the dealer for every visit. take notes of your time and who you speak to. this is ford's response to problems they can't figure out. i went through this a few months ago. the word's "ford says it's normal" are a bad sign of things to come.

Can you try explaining the issue a little better? Does it bounce excessively over bumps? Or regardless of a bump, on a flat roads it just bounces up and down? Or by bounce do you mean vibrate? While on a smooth road you feel a vibration? Where? Steering wheel or in your butt?

Or by bounce do you maybe mean the truck feels like it has a stiff rear? Like if you drive over a penny you'll feel it? Cause I feel EVERY SINGLE ROAD BUMP / CRACK in my truck. Gotten used to it.

Go ask your sales guy for a ride in a brand new truck and compare the two.

Just trying to help.

It sounds as though you have a bad tire.

Thinking the same brother. Our experience has shown that the rubber pads between the cab, and the chassis do exhibit a bouncing feeling from time to time depending on the surface of the roadway. I was wondering if the OP is experiencing this, which is normal.

I've been calling it a bounce because it seems to fit better than shake or shutter. When I pull out of the driveway and start down the street, it feels like I'm going over a washboard at 25 mph. I feel it in my seat, but so does my passenger. At around 50mph the feeling is exactly the same only I can see the bed shake in the side-view mirror. The feeling is constantly there but more pronounced at the speeds I just mentioned. I noticed today that it also comes back when going into a curve, right or left. It's driving me nuts because of what the dealer is saying and I know it's not normal. I am keeping track of visits and my time. I'm also going to call Ford. I went to the guy who normally does my tires today but he didn't have time to just ride with me. I'm going back at the beginning of next week when he has more personnel there. He said he thinks he knows what I'm talking about but it can be adjusted by someone who knows what they are doing. By the way, in case you don't know about this problem, the Dealership service manager told me it's called the "F150 cab shake"
