Ahh got it!! Thanks, I never sat in the back so guess I never noticed that.

The SVT engineers were not saying, and no one at FoMoCo has issued a statement, so it's all speculation.

Ford will be offering a specialty off road truck for sure. Economics make that an almost certainty. Whether that will be a Raptor, a Bronco, or something entirely new is unknown. The 6.2L is not going away. Ford just signed a contract to provide that engine to some boat builder. It may linger as a specialty option as long as there are customers who prefer a big V8 over other smaller options.
Makes sense, thanks for the insight!

nice truck.
and pretty sure the flow through console is the console with the shifter in it. instead of the 60 40 bench seat and the coloum shifter.

Nice truck. Lots of misinformation out there on the 6.2's spread by those that have never even driven one. I bought my 13 fx4 with one for the same reason.... they are getting rid of them. Op and I have the same truck beyond mine is white with the 6.5' bed. I want an xlt with a 6.2 for a company truck as this one I have now is way too nice for that death. Love the engine though. Tuned is a huge change and all I have run is the SCT canned tune. I want to get HP tuners and do it myself anyway.... I have a 3.5" mbrp cat back that I am powder coating and then sticking on... and then long tubes maybe this fall.

I get between 19 and 20 mpg US on the highway too at around 65 mph... with 3.73 gears.

Haha yeah, actually with 2015's about to make way, they are offering pretty good rebates and deals on the remaining 14's. I got about 6k off MSRP.

Yeah I just ordered the SCT 5 Start Tuning today and already shipped out.... would you say it's a huge improvement over the stock settings?? Which tune do you run, 87 performance?

I also want to upgrade the exhaust, stock is nice, but I want to hear more throat in it.

I ran the 91 tune on mine. Its massive on the bottom end where the truck is restricted in the stock tuning so badly. Rips tires off like nothing and breaks the back tires loose on a 20 mph downshift into first every time when your floor it. Sct's shifts are rough though... I didn't like them. I am going custom too and my first revision wasn't what I wanted but I will straighten it out. The stock exhaust bugs me as it necks to 2.5" pipe between the muffler and the resonator. The MBRP is supposed to be pretty reasonable in sound/ drone and does have a resonator as well as a muffler. They rust though....even the stainless as its a low grade. Plus I want my exhaust black and not shiny polished.
