You need to pop out that center piece. Open your hood and look down directly below and to both sides of your hood latch. Should be two tabs to squueze and pop it out of its attached anything like the license plate backer.

And if its not (kinda looks like it may be screwed in) then find out how to remove that piece and once you've got that accomplished you'll see the slots and holes to put your bracket it.

i just put mine to the side, found that the bracket was easier to find and fit perfectly, left the center opening for airflow ti the intercooler. also that center piece is just held in by clips inside the middle on the bottom...if that makes sense

Thanks Stokin 7.3! Was not aware that I had to remove the existing trim piece in order to install. Removed it and the bracket went in no problem. Your help is much appreciated.
