Just bought a 2014 F150. Prior owner was from out of state and my state requires front plate. I bought Genuine Ford 9L3Z-17A385-A License Plate Bracket but does not seem to work. Looking for guidance.

Well, if it doesn't fit, your issue may with them and their fitment guide.

I do think that the Ecoboost license frame which fits to the side of the bumper and the others which fit in the middle of the bumper may very well very well be different designs.

That is the middle-of-the-bumper bracket. Was that the one you were looking to get?

What model of F-150 do you have? And ... What engine do you have?

The part # for the LH (driver) bracket (instead of the bumper pad) is BL3Z-17E811-AA (which includes the bracket -AND- pad) and it is associated with the EcoBoost engine.

I have the 2014 super crew 5.0 V8. Definitely not the eccoboost V-6. Maybe I try the ecccoboost bracket anyway since the one I have now obviously doesn't work.

That the one I ordered / have but there is no place on the front bumper for it to snap in!

Can you post pictures of your bumper opening? both the top and the bottom
