Anyone else notice that the camera immediately goes off now when shifting out of reverse vs. staying on for a little while prior to the update? I have not looked to see if there is a setting to change for this yet but I found it useful at times like in a parking lot pull through space to make sure my hitch is clear, etc. or bumping it into neutral while backing up to make the reverse sensor noise stop but still see what is behind you.

The delay your referring too can be on or off, its under options for rear view camera.

I fortunately remembered to look at it this morning while stopped at a light and found that screen. My delay should now be back on, Thanks. The whole MFT/NAV on this truck is so quirky that it took me a couple of days to figure out what was going on, it does odd things and the NAV is the least accurate I have ever seen.

I do like the changes in the home screen and hopefully things will continue to be improved in the system. I wish the MFT could show a map in the NAV box while on the home screen. My 2011 would allow you to have the map on 1/2 the screen and then show the radio on the other side.

I'm not getting a zip file when I download, I'm getting a file but it doesn't have the autoinstall file in it and my vehicle is not recognizing it. Please tell me what I need to do. The file that I'm getting is "Gen2v361build1317" but there is nothing but this file downloaded. What do I need to do? Please Help!

The file I downloaded is: Gen2v361build13171updatepackageNARev1.zip and is 552 MB (579,008,082 bytes)

Your file has no extension? Does your computer have the option turned on to hide extensions of known file types? What does the icon look like? A folder with a zipper or strap on it?

Try right-clicking on it and seeing if it shows an "Extract All..." menu item. If so, extract everything to the root level of an empty USB drive.

Well i installed the update on my 13 MFT w/ Nav and the first day or two my phone wouldn't connect, or when it did it was a garbage connection. That seems to have fixed it self.

The BIG problem.... I use a Microsoft Zune HD 32 gb for my music (I know right??) and now it sucks. On a road trip after about 30-45 minutes of driving and constantly indexing it will begin to work right. Guess what happens when you turn off the truck? Next time you turn the truck on it does the same thing all over again. EVERY TIME. I had some glitches before with my Zune HD but nothing near this bad and I could always fix it.

Now? I am looking to have it fixed or just go back to my previous firmware. Preferably have Ford fix it so I have the advantages of the newest firmware. This sucks....

Update went well. Wish I could turn off the guidelines on the rear camera like pre-update. Black guideline hides trailer ball. Very frustrating!!

buy an ipod from the apple refurb store...less than $100 problem solved plus you get to join the 21st century.

Just did mine this morning. I tried first with my Mac and it didn't work. Did it with a PC and no problems. I am unable to send the confirmation of the the update to Ford though. Ill try that again later.

Or for even less, get a USB stick drive, copy the music onto it, and leave it plugged into the truck's USB port. That frees up the Zune/iPod/whatever for what it was designed for - portable music.

All MFT needs is a storage device, it has all of the required intelligence. Why wast a more expensive device just to act as storage?
