Has anyone updated their Sync yet on a 2013? I have the update on a USB thumb drive but when I install in the truck it says not supported. Or no media present.

my '12 from factory had the most current update and nothing happened.

I registered on the Sync website and there is an update for the 2013's. Not sure what changes but I would like to keep the software upto date.

IIRC you need to make sure the USB is formatted as FAT-32. May or may not be your issue.

Make sure it creates a folder called Syncmyride I think it was. The first time I did it it did not create the folder and I got the same message.

I just finished the sync update on my 2013 F-150 with My Ford Touch, no nav.

It updated to version GEN2, Version 3.5.1.

It seems fine so far. The udpate took about a hour, and afterwards I had to re-pair my phone. It downloaded the phone book fine, and overall does seem a little snappier and quick.

I was able to go back onto the website and and successfully report the installation as completed. I was surprised to see how many files were installed. No wonder the download from the website took about 45 minutes (1.7 GB), and the installation took a hour.
