2013 USB Sync Update?
#51
Updated mine last night. It does take a while to put it on the flash drive. Loaded it in my truck and now the voice part doesn't work! I push the button on the steering wheel to call someone and you can see it's asking for something but you can't hear it. Told it to call someone and the names appeared but I couldn't say what line I wanted! I touched the line I wanted and nothing! This is actually the first actual problem I've had with it.
Did you get your voice commands straightened out yet?
Were you able to log in to your account?

Give them a call Crazyhorse. They helped me out, maybe they can get you straightened out. Good luck.

My install was successful. I've been trying to confirm the update now sync and when I click "select file" it just returns me to the top of the page. It does not bring up my USB that is inserted in the computer with the XML file. Any ideas?
Update. I thought it would be a good idea to delete everything off my USB drive and reload the update. Not sure that was a good idea now the XML file is wrapped up in the zip files. I may just contact sync on Monday and try to report successful update that way.

You can report a successful install by running a Vehicle Health Report:

My 2013 has the blocks that beep as you get closer already...got my letter in the mail about downloading it, so apparently mine is out of date. The site says to load the new card if you have nav, but no new card was supplied. I assume those with NAV had no issue with the update and didn't have to load a new card in it? I have an A4 card right now.
The new card message only applies to those who never downloaded the performance update (3.0.2).
When a download is complete, you should have 21 files on your USB (556MB).
One called SyncMyRide with 19 files and 2 files outside listed as autoinstall.lst and DONTINDX.MSA.
If I missed anything or anyone has additional questions, please send me a private message.

Hi, 116Rob -
You can report a successful install by running a Vehicle Health Report:
I have the same issue, the Sync page shows my last successful upgrade as being done over a year ago. I ran the Vehicle Health Report and it shows on the right hand side I now have 3.6.2
The Sync page still only shows a successful upgrade last June, but does show a successful DOWNLOAD (not install) from last week when I did the upgrade myself. This is even after doing the Health Report.

Updated mine today but haven't driven yet will report any differences I notice tomorrow.
I did notice my Pandora is working now. It's seams to be off and on lately and now it's working.

I did the update a week ago, and the Downloads page says I'm up to date. But like others, it says "Your last update was confirmed on ..." with the original build date of May. Below that is a link to see Full Sync History. When that is opened it does show my latest update is confirmed from last week. Ford's site must have a bug that isn't showing confirmations on the first page.

I got it downloaded and installed easily. My point was that the Ford site does confirm it in the details of my account, but not on the first page of "my account/sync software" for some reason. On that page it lists the latest confirmation date as the original build back in May. But open the details of that and it also confirms my install from last week.
