Default Whistling sound at low speed.

My mechanic cannot find the cause of this and actually he did not hear it when I had it in his shop. But for some time now there is a high pitched whistling sound coming from the truck at low speeds and it typically stops after a few seconds. It sounds like it's coming from the front end but it's really hard to tell. This morning it went non stop longer than I've ever heard and was doing it even at a little higher speed but then it stopped.

Anyone ever hear of something like this?

The air vents will whistle with the blower on when slightly opened. Also if you have a bug deflector there are many people that had complaints about them causing a whistle. Just a couple of things to check out.

2013 Lariat and it does have an aftermarket bug deflector. It seems I'm going to slow for this to be the issue but I'm just not certain. Eco Boost 6 cyl.

Can you not have someone walking outside along the truck while it is moving?

A friend did this recently and thought it was coming from the right front brake but that wasn't the issue.

Have you had your dealer take a look at this, EODK9Trainer? I suggest having them diagnose, as they'll best be able to do so. Please let me know how things unfold, and fill me in with the current mileage as well.
