Default Painting Brake Calipers? Anyone?

Been hearing more and more lately about guys painting their brake calipers to match either their wheels, their truck, or just any color other than black. Searched here but didn't find much. Anyone done it recently that can recommend what paint they used and describe the process from preparation to finish? Thanks. Pics would be cool too.

You can find the paint at mosy auto stores, it is kinda of a tuner/racer deal. I have only seen show trucks with calipers painted and that is usually because they are upgraded big brake kits.

I'm thinking about painting mine black. I can see them through the wheels, and I imagine they'll be covered in rust next winter. If you can see them, I think you should paint them.

Yeah and it is easy. Just take wheel off and someone said use steel wool to prepare them and brush on few coats of the special paint. Probably just do mine black too but from the factory they get surface rust pretty easily. Was hoping this paint helps prevent that

How hot does the exterior of the caliper actually get? Seen guys plasti dip their exhaust tips and that has to be pretty damn hot. But yeah I will most likely use the special caliper paint they sell
