Default 2013 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab - Reasonable Price

I'm helping a buddy of mine shop for an F-150. He's wanting this F-150 here:
  • 2013 F-150
  • SuperCrew
  • 4x4
  • 157" wheel base
  • Convenience (301A Equipment Package)
  • Tow Package

MSRP is $41,205. They are asking $30,630 and 32,250 total OTD after TTL.
I think this is a a decent price. We can't seem to get any dealer to go lower. Is it unreasonable to try and get more off? How much do they ACTUALLY have into this vehicle?

That's a good deal. Of course you could try to get more off somewhere else, but you're obviously not guaranteed that any will offer you lower. $11k off MSRP is damn fair offer if you ask me

I got one of those dealer cost pass things, anyhow in my area it seems like Ford is usually minus 10% from MSRP to get the dealers cost, GM is 10.5 Dodge 9. All the factory incentives are after that.
IE My F150, MSRP 48500 (aprox) actual cost was 43 650, then minus at the time 7500 factory discount, and then 750 (instead of the 1000 chrome acc) so actual dealer cost was 35,400

Sounds like a good deal. I purchased the same truck in January, except mine has the 302A package. I got mine for 33k out the door. I live in Oregon where we dont have sales tax though.

That's a good deal already. They do have to make a little money.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks

Thanks to everyone else for the opinions. I think it's pretty fair deal as well.

pretty fair deal? In NJ that is once in a lifetime deal at almost 11k off sticker. Dealer sin NJ DO NOT care to sell lower then tissue and if one does, you need to beat them with a stick like I did to get $100 below tissue. Now I am talking NO trade in because when you have a trade in, I do not care what price you get on your new truck cause it came out of your trade. With trades the prices for a new truck are fudged to make it look like you are getting such a great deal yet your trade in is lower then it should be.

I still have a $500 bounty for anyone who can get me a Ford Explorer $1500 under invoice without incentives and no trade.
