I had a 2011 scab 3.7 XLT. It was definitely a nice truck. The 3.7 is rather peppy and rev happy. Honestly, it it weren't for the fact that I like loud exhaust on a v8, I would probably still have it. I live in the city, don't own a trailer, and have no need to tow anything.

i have the XLT screw cab with the deluxe interior, which i absolutely loved. i came from a 2007 5.4 king ranch screw so i didn't want to downgrade too much. i wanted the economy to pull down 20mpg average around my driving and can still tow 6300lbs. and not get the pulling ability of 9000lbs and constantly get the MPG of a 5.4 which i will never tow anything heavier than 5300lbs.

when i bought my 3.7, it was the only one available in a sCREW, and there was only one other one available in a SCAB. they are around, just might need to do a dealer trade.

I reeeeeeeally wanted the custom package. I love the seats and interior. The painted bumpers and grille surround looks pretty sharp too. But its only available inn 2wd models. I need 4x4

They are around you just got to find em. There were only 3 3.7s available near me all STX. I'm sure your dealer could find an XLT

i just received a voice mail form a cars salesperson and they were telling me ford is not making the 3.7 liter any more is their any truth to that?

I ordered my 4x4 Scab 3.7L and love it to bits. Great engine just 8hp shy from the old 5.4 L. I get the same fuel economy as my old 3L (non 4x4) Ranger !

They are still making it. Its a new engine.
