I was wondering if anybody with a 2013 has noticed whether or not there is a metal reinforcing bar underneath the plastic portion of the rear bumper.

I have a 2013 screw xlt 4x4 with the backup sensors in the bumper. I noticed that the middle plastic portion of my rear bumper has a lot of flex in it. When i went to the dealer, I noticed that some 2013s had a reinforcing bar on the underside of the plastic portion and some did not. Mine does not have the reinforcing bar. I wonder if this was some mid-year change to the model? Or maybe my f150 was missing a part from the factory?

Anyone know anything about this? My dealer told me to take it up with ford customer service.

Ik on the tundra the bumper supports vary between tow packages it would make sense if for did this as well anybody thats been under more trucks could give a definite answer
