Hey Guys,

I have a 2013 f150 and I am trying to decide on what I am going to do with it. I know I want to do a level kit, but I am debating between getting a spacer kit or an adjustable strut kit like bilstein 5100's. I want my truck to sit level, without any rake, and also sit a lot higher. Which leads to my second question, what is the height difference going to be from a 33x12.50R20 to a 35x12.50R20? Is it really going to be that noticeable? One more thing, I have the stock king ranch rims and am not sure about all of that offset stuff but will either of those tires fit correctly on the stock rim? With minimal to no rubbing? Or do I need to get a size like a 295/65R20 or something along those lines?

Probably want a lift kit. Level and bigger tires won't get you that much higher.

Well, i dont know where your from and types of roads u travel. But, i had a daystar level on a silverado, wanted better for my f150 and got rancho Quicklifts(f/r), and i hate them. Now im looking at new coilovers and rear shocks, Fox2.0, f150lifts Boss Ultimate and Icon stage 1/2. So, u have a 50k truck, id advise from experience- do it right the 1st time and dont lose money selling some used junk, again on labor and again on an alignment. Bilsteins are like everything else, love or hate. Everyone has different standards and needs. As for tires, either will work, but a 12.50 wide needs the lower bumper valance ends trimmed off. If u heavy off road and will get lots of suspension flex, dont do the 35's. a 3" new coilover may let u tho. Do u really want a 12.50 wide tire-for looks or functionality? U may be happier with a 275/65, 295/65 or 305/55. Look at pics and signatures, theyre the most common on a 2" level and dont need trimmed or rub on stock 20's.

I really want a 295/60R20 but the toyo tire I want only comes in a 35x12.5 and a 33x12.5 for a 20 inch rim. As far as driving off road, during hunting season I will be driving off road often but other than that I don't really unless I have to for work or something. I am not doing any mud riding or anything like that. Also, I drive quiet a bit on the highway. Probably about 8-10 hours round trip every couple of weeks. I really just need something with functionality for what I I do and I also want it to look good. I was looking into rough country level kits as well. Do you know anything about those?

You must be talking about the Toyo OC M/T? Their AT2 comes in the 295/60/20. You could look at the Nitto Trail Grappler as it's available in the 295/60/20 you're in search of.

As for a kit...reach out to Alex [MENTION=156426]F150Lifts.com[/MENTION]. They have everything from spacers to coil-overs. He's great to deal with and can answer any questions you'll have.

Spacers are good and get you what you want, but coil-overs are great and take the ride to a new level. Neither compares to a true suspension lift though. Oh, FWIW, you can clear a 295/65/20 with a 2.5" height increase in the front, but depending on your truck that's likely to leave you a touch nose high without adding another leaf or a new block to the back to compensate for the front's increase in height.

Wait are u talking about Toyo m/t? Because they do come 275/65, 295/55, 295/60. I personally wouldn't buy a m/t for all that highway, but your the 1 that has to be happy. And I wouldn't but the RC level. I believe it's like a composite plastic. Go w/ like Auto Spring or Hell Bent Steel. Or call Alex at f150Lifts

I've test fitted several 12.50s on the stock 20" rims and they end up rubbing the control arm. You will likely need offset rims 20x8.5 with about a +25mm offset.

I did a 2" AutoSpring on a 2013 Lariat 4X4, he is running 305/55R20 AT2s. He has no issues with rubbing at all unless he turns the wheel all the way then it rubs on the UCA. The valance did NOT need to be trimmed.
