Hey guys I know a lot of people look at converting their exterior lights to LEDs especially the turn signals so here are the diagrams for the wiring harnesses to the halogen headlights and taillights on a 2013 F150 now if i understand correctly the wires change color every year model but i could be wrong but for all you 2013 owners here you go.

i don't at the moment but i will try and find them, you can always take a look at the rear brake lights to see if it is the same or not, on the driver side tail light there should be from left to right a grey yellow then black wire on the brake light harness
basically on 09-14 if I'm not wrong the setup and order should be the same just the color of the wires might have changed but I'm not 100% sure on that

So would you know about these 3 wires that i found?????
2013 f150 xlt, 4x4, 5.0L, in front of the master cylinder I have a yellow/light green wire, a brown/dark green wire and a blue/pink wire.
They are cap off and taped to the wiring harness..
I think the blue/pink wire is for a 3rd break light for a truck bed shell, not sure...and the other two no idea.....

It seems the yellow green is consistantly the parking lights wire for 2013 as for the brown i have no idea, im far from a wiring expert i just stumbles upon these diagrams when i was researching to convert my lights to leds for the turn signal resistors and i know alot of people ask which wires for that instance so i went ahead and shared them but i know if you call a dealer they will have access to the diagrams and can tell you for sure

Thanks for the reply, I've been to two dealers and up here they don't seem to want to help with the aftermarket things, they tell me to go to van and truck world or something like that.....

So for those wondering for most of the model years the wires change color with each year but the best way to tell which wire is which from what I've found is to pull out your head light and look at the side marker light it will have 2 wires the lighter color wire in my case for a 2013 is yellow is going to be the parking light wire and the darker one will be a ground , if you look at you turn signals and brake lights you will find that the parking light wire will be the same color in every location as it is with the side marker since the side marker only comes on when the parking lights are on so by deduction the front turn signals will have that same color parking light wire the same color ground wire as in the side marker and the third color wire will be the actual turn signal wire now this will differ in the rears but in most cases the rear brake lights have 3 wires the parking light which will be the same as up front , the brake light wire which will be the same on both rear tail lights and a 3rd color wire which will be different on both rear tail lights on the left it will be one color on the right it will be another this is for the rear lights only so basically in the rear lights you will find 2 wires that are the same color on both sides one is the parking light ( which is the same as the front side marker) and the other is the brake light now as for the 3rd wire it will be different on either side this is your turn signal wire.
