If baby numero uno wasn't on the way, I would take you up on that offer. I plan on retroing a Mini D2S set, within the next year, I am going to crack open my stockers, while running a cheap 1AAuto light pair while I perform the retro.

I am quite happy with my Philips bulbs right now though, pretty impressed for a Halogen bulb in a crappy housing.

Just need to balance that out with a coilover and AAL setup and I am good to go. You know for babies safety and all. That and the wife's escape needs new struts and shocks.

So, I pulled mine apart, and had a set of FX4 headlights sitting around, so I used those as the donor. Pulled apart, cut the reflectors and they're fixing to go to paint, then im callin it a night. Tomorrow I'll scrape the permaseal out, then mount and align the projectors, mount the halos, shrouds and real seal and hopefully, they'll be done tomorrow night. I'll post pics later. Went with the panamera shrouds. Black with the clear part painted white.

I was considering those shrouds too. How well do they fit the buckets? I'm not going to paint my headlights because I want a more subtle look, but I also don't want them to look cheap. I have no idea which shrouds to go with...
