I bought 3 new Fords in the last year and jaconn02 is right, your MPG should startimproving between 1k-2k miles, mine always has.

What v6 do you have. 3.7? 3.5 ecoboost? The two are very different.

There are so many factors that play into mileage, try to search a couple of the mileage threads on here for details.

My 2013 5.0 gets 15 mpg combo highway/city @ 3400 miles. It has never gotten better and I really don't think it will. Love the truck though. I think Ford might have padded the mpg numbers on this one?

How many miles are on the truck? I've heard of the break in period. The more miles, the better mileage. I have 35,000 miles on my 2011 Screw and I get between 21 and 22mpg per tank. If you live up north in cold weather that's also a factor. And of course the obvious, big rims, tires, and a heavy foot are also a factor.

I bet you have the 3.5L and not the 3.7L. My last post was referring to the 3.7L.

My 5.0 is getting 17 in town and 19 highway. Question is are you driving the 3.7 or the 3.5 ecoboost?

Since filling out any information on profile pages seems to have become a lost art to many members, I guess we'll have to wait for him to find out.
