Hey guys my truck has developed a problem as of late. The majority of the time the truck will make a groan noise where it feels as if something is grabbing from about 0-5 mph in first gear then the noise will go away. It also occasionally makes the same sound when you shift into park, especially if there is some sort of incline. My gut feeling is that it has something to do with the front diff, but im not too sure. If anyone has any thoughts or experienced the same problem please let me know, i want to have some basic knowledge of the problem before it goes to the stealership thanks

Sounds like the issue I had, groaning when putting it in park and when changing gears. It's the transmission and there is a TSB for it. I had them perform the TSB a couple months ago and haven't heard a thing since.

Just had this done last week. Seems to have taken care of it.
