Unfortunately some things are just defective! Same thing happened on my 2007 Hummer H3 after 11k miles, Hummer dealer replaced it no questions asked! Took 30 mins. And I was on my way! I wish they still made them(Hummers) as Id be driving a brand new one.

Had the same issue. Died twice on me in three days with about 2,400 miles on it. Supposed to get it back tomorrow. The service rep I've been talking to is real friendly but doesn't seem to have a clue about the technical stuff. I believe there was a module or something shorting out killing the battery. Gave me a 2010 screw silverado for a rental and I'd rather have the f150 with a dead battery. Lol. I'll let you know what I find out.

Bummer. My dad had the same thing happen on his 2009 F150. The dealer covered the tow and replaced the battery. No charge

It must be the Ecoboost. It doesn't like you. It might be ok if it was a 5.0.

Yeah, probably a short in one of those little hairdryers on the side of the motor....JK.

No need to be upset. These things happen, and the dealer will replace it in a jiffy. I had the same thing happen years ago in a new car.

guys... new to forum. I am having serious issues with my 2013 screw ecoboost 4x4.
dead batteries started at roughly 2,200 miles. I now have 2,850 miles on it and it has been towed or jumped 5 times!!! dealer has had truck more than I have!!!
they can not diagnose the problem, they just keep replacing battery and sending me on my way. Ford is a joke, luckily the dealership is considering replacing the truck free of charge with same truck.
