Default 2013 Eco plugs changed interesting what I found

So after reading all the plug treads I decided with less then 20k I wS going to change the plugs

Called up levittownfordsupetcenter.com
And for the 26 all 6 cost me I figured what the heck

Let's see first all plugs new out of the box were diff gaps

38
36
28
30

Ridiculous
So I regaped it all to .30

Then pulled the ones from the actual engine

After all were replaced response feels crisper going to Albany ny tomorrow so ill
See what happens with mpg

Holy ****! Thats Ridiculous, was it fairly easy to replace them? Guess this is gonna be my next truck chore....

Super easy. There is a thread floating around that discusses this.

Basically remove the engine cowling, pop the electrical connections on the coils, remove the coils and the plugs are right there. About an hours worth of work.

I have 3500 miles on my truck. Maybe I'll pull the plugs and check the gaps this weekend.

Just remember that when replacing the plugs in aluminum heads, always do it when the engine is cold to prevent cross threading the plugs...

Took me 28 min lol not that I was timing it lol
All u need is 8 mm for coil packs and spark plug socket

After reading this I'll be checking mine soon as well. Only have 4k on the truck so I won't replace. Definitely keep us updated on any mileage effects. I'd like to get my eco out of the 13s
