The shop next to me is gonna replace them since now they're making a grinding noise. I'm not going higher end this time since it doesn't pay to get the better parts if they're not going to last. It sucks they put most of the stopping power in the front than keeping the stopping power more even. Yes I know the fronts to the most work but let the back do more so share the load.

I did 65,000 mostly Interstate/Expressway miles on my fronts and when checking found them full of heat cracks. Replaced and now have near 6,ooo on these. Maybe a problem with your pedal adjustment being too tight or the calipers are Malf/replace for sure with new rotors. My trucks usually have near 800 lbs. loads when stopping.

My experience
My 2012 screw 4*4 Platinum Eco has 54000 Miles on original pads and rotors.
That is with 50% around town miles and 50% trips.
Maybe I have just been fortunate, but have been very happy with my last 5 Fords' brakes.

Those pads don't look right age wise they look years old not weeks. They look like they spent their time in the Rockies Down hilling hard.

Having this going on U really need to also do the calipers. The pads don't show the type of wear associated with a stuck piston but they do show extreme wear and also the rotors associated with bad calipers. Spend your money wisely this time.
