2012 speaker wire color
I searched don't think I found the answer.
I have the Sync System, No Nav, No Sony ... pulled off A Pillar tweeters to replace with old trucks tweets --- Green and Purple wire ... what is positive and negative?
Hopefully Green is positive as that is what I wired up ... same wire colors for both sides.
Sounds better ( I think )

In my old blazer I took the wires from the vehicle and connected them to the speaker then turned on the radio and if it didn't work then switch and tested again. Idk how safe that is to the speaker but I had no issues.

I had the same problem. I ended up figuring it out. I don't know if the colors stay the same for the tweets or not.

I don't think they can be damaged if you try them the wrong way, old school ones couldn't anyway. They just vibrated in the wrong direction and didn't push. You could see it if you looked at the cone and the wires were backwards. Modern ones the same?
