Hello all,

I have a few questions about the factory trailer brake. Just bought the truck and want to put the factory trailer brake control in, where do I fint one? I already removed the change holder where the controller goes so I think putting it in won't be much of a problem. My second question is do I have to get the computer reprogramed for the brake contoller?

Got a brand new one on Ebay for $125, installed it myself in about 1/2 hr. (less if you don't have the floor shifter) had my dealer reflash the cpu for $50. Some dealers will do it for free. Total I'm $175 into it which isn't bad since the dealer wanted $325 for them to supply the controller, install it, and reflash the cpu. By the way there is a really good how-to video on this if you google it.

Controller doesn't go where the change holder is, that's the spot for the 4x4 switch.

The controller goes below that in the little cubby hole.
