You can still get some rebates; including one if you run the lease through FMC.

But you are right, it seems the biggest specific factory rebates are usually on the XLT model.

Just negotiate a good price on the sticker/Monroney, to reduce the Cap cost of the lease as much as possible. Remember, it doesn't matter lease or buy, you can still negotiate the price of the vehicle, aside from any factory rebates.

Damn it. Now I wish I leased my truck instead of buying. Oh well

Every year something new is in these trucks that I want. It will be the same in 2012. If there is a big change in 2014 there will be something else I want in 2015....but 2014 sounds like a good timeframe. Start saving NOW!!

Well, in 2014 you won't want the first model year. Too many bugs usually need to be worked out in the first year. 2011 had engine changes, so I think 2012 will be the year for me.

Yes, you are correct about the '15!

From what I hear, anyone who buys a '14, will be real sorry they jumped the gun.

But then again, I heard another rumor about the new 8 spd. trans coupled with the hi/lo locking rear axle in the '16; so I am up in the air as to what to do.

You guys are all too funny. This is almost as bad as Apple fanbois when we are waiting on the new releases from the messiah, Steve Jobs. As I have told all my friends, buy NOW because you will enjoy it regardless. You will ALWAYS keep wondering what will be next and if you keep waiting, you will NEVER end up buying. Unless you know an engineer at Ford with insider information, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET. Nobody has the secret crystal ball.

Buy now, mod to your hearts content and if something new does come out...so be it. But you might also be waiting 5 years for that new something, by which time you could have paid off the truck you buy TODAY. Just sayin...
