Default Console Vault

I've read through just about every thread here looking for information on console vaults for our trucks, but can't find anyone that has one for their F-150 with the middle jump seat/arm rest (which is what I have).

So does anyone have one for their truck with the jump seat? I see there's a few different websites that offer something that looks like it will fit based on the description but they don't offer any pictures to verify. The one on consolevault.com that is for I think 2004-2011 with the middle arm rest shows a picture but it looks like it's not not for the 2011 F-150 because the picture shows an older seat/arm rest.

So anyone have any luck finding one?

I've only seen the one for the dedicated console not the under the seat console.

The only site that I've seen that has an actual picture is here:

http://www.consolevault.com/ford-f15...2004-2011.html

But that is clearly not a picture of what my 2011 looks like. I've emailed them to see if they have any pics of one for a 2011.

There is another console vault site (actually a few that all use the same part number 1033) that also says it will fit a 2011 but does not have any pics. Here is one of those sites:

http://www.corporatetravelsafety.com...afe-p-889.html

If you scroll down you'll see the descriptions for all the different models and it shows the model number 1033 is for 2004-2011 with the fold down arm rest...but of course there's no picture. I've also emailed them to see if it actually is for a 2011.

I guess I'm trying to find an option out there besides the little lockable box that can be tethered to a seat post that I already have. I'd like something that I can bolt down for additional security without taking up any valuable space in the rear of the cab (that space is clearly for our dogs...they'll be very upset if some clunky box is taking up their precious sleeping area).

Plus, I will need it to be completely accessible from the driver's seat because I'm not going to unholster a handgun in plain sight for everyone to see so I can lock it up when I go someplace where carrying isn't allowed...especially here in the communist state of Illinois (once we can finally get our CCW permits).

If I had to disarm to go into some place that doesn't allow carry (very rare around my part of the country) then I just don't go there or toss it in the center console- which in my truck has been converted to a safe box. (pretty simple really)

You can surely get one of the laptop cable locks and attack it to the seat frame and a small lock box and keep it under your seat.

I have the center console vault, on my 2012 and its probably the best addition ive done to the truck other than performance mods. I keep everything in it and attached a holster to the side wall of it. It is solid and they have a tamper proof locking system (break the lock/cant get in).

I lock the lid to the console and the there is the vault. Its discreet, I can holster/ unholster with no one knowing, and you cant tell its there. You wont be disappointed. Their customer service is great as well.

THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED:

Enjoy

first video shows going into a F150 console (looks like a 2009+ bucket seat center console like mine) for anyone else looking for that. The one for OP has already been posted.

I actually got a reply from consolevault.com, and they don't make a console vault for us with the middle jumpseat/arm rest yet. It's in development at the moment, and they didn't give me any kind of time line. So I'll keep an eye on the one that Ford_ linked, but I'm not too hopeful that it's going to be released any time soon. Apparently they're also working on one that will go in the arm rest part of the seat as well. So I guess they'll have two different options....just don't know when that will be.

I'm curious what "soon" is for them. I'm afraid that when the new body style gets here, we'll end up getting skipped over.

Yeah, I'd love to find that out myself. I'll see if I can get a more approximate date.
