Anyone had they're SCT tuner do weird things to their truck?.
I had the tuner on for about a month and every time I was pretty hard on the skinny pedal it would shutter when shifting. I contacted my local speed shop that I bought it from. They told me to download it back to stock to make for sure it was in the tune. So sure enough it was, it didn't do it at all in stock form. So yesterday right before heading off to work I reinstalled the tuner. Once it was done, my nav/radio screen would not come on. Not for the back up can or anything. I was out of time so I had to drive all the way to work without a radio. BTW. The shutter shifting is gone now.
Once I got to work and clocked in I went back out to the parking lot, downloaded it back to stock then reinstalled it again. Nav/radio screen is working now, but when I went to get out of the truck I hit the automatic roll up on the front two windows and only the drivers side came up on its own. The pass side I had to hold the switch to get it to come up. It refused to come up automatically like it used to. Anyone have any thoughts?
Sorry for the long post, just wanting to know if anyone else is having these weird quirks with this tuner.

What tuner are you using, SCT makes a few and while were at it what are you using it on? Year, model, engine, trim level?
I have no odd issues with my x4. Other than having to reset the guidelines to on for the rear view back up monitor.

I'd have to look at the tuner in the morning when I get home to tell you which one exactly. But its on a 2013 5.0 fx4

I'm using the Livewire TS tuner with the canned SCT tune, and have not noticed any strange behavior. I've always wondered if I should return to stock before changing tunes.

I can't find where I read it but I do remember it being stated you do not need to revert to stock between tunes, just go from one to another at will.

I liked them, but not for daily driving. My favorite is the 87 performance "soft" from 5Star, and I'm waiting for a "tweak" of my 93 performance with that same shift strategy. But I'm thinking I'm going to stick with 87 and save myself $15 per tank. I was able to configure the octane and gear ratio on the SCT tune, and so far I'm liking it.

Nice having the option to change ain't it.
