Default 2012 F-150 Strange exterior light and 4x4 issue

I am having a very strange issue with my 4x4 system lately. It started making a wicked grinding noise a few months ago. I took it in and they found the transfer motor broken, replaced it. Then it started again, this time they replaced something in the front end ( I can't remember exactly what). Sure enough, it made the noise again just the other day. I was about to take it back to the shop, but while I was driving at night I noticed a headlight diming while my signal light was on so I decided to check all of my lights.

It turns out that not only does my right headlight dim with the a signal light on, but my fog lights are always on just very dim. When I turn on my fog lights, they don't get any brighter but my right headlight goes out. On top of it all, when I turn on the fog lights, my service 4x4 notification comes up.

So long story short, I am now starting to believe that the issue is with the lighting and it just somehow is messing with the 4x4 system. This all sounds near impossible to me, does anyone know where the two may be interconnected? Or at least point me to where I can find a good wiring diagram.

Thanks.

Don't see how that could be related. Lighting sounds electrical or possibly the BCM, 4x4 is usually the IWEs in some way

To me, it sounds like there's a ground side issue of some kind.

If it wasn't for the fact that when I try to turn on my fog lights, the service 4x4 notice comes on, I would never think the two issues would be related

The grounding issue does sound plausible, I may have to look into that. I really need to get my hands on some wiring diagrams.

I bought the truck new. It was in a front end collision two years ago. I do wonder if the shop did some questionable repairs, but it took a year and a half for any symptoms to appear.
