Default 2011 SCrew Tonneau and Rack

Hi All,
First time posting, and i have looked at all of what i can find here

I am looking to do a tonneau, and a rack to mount a thule box, skiis, and the like. I like the Thule 422XT but don't think you can do this and a tonneau.

Any thoughts?

Not interested in a hard tonneau either, and ultimately the adjustable height (since i also tow, and have 13' kayak)

Any help would be perfect!

These are not height adjustable but they make tall arms to raise the bars over the top of the truck if you need to carry a kayak or something. I didnt have a need so I just purchased the short bars for easier access to my boards.

Moody Blue, how do you like the Prorac? I'm on the line of getting that setup. I go on a lot of snowboard trips and being able to use the bed to store everything then putting all the boards on the racks would be a huge convenience haha.

I have an above rail Weatherguard toolbox with a Truxedo Lo Pro QT soft cover roll up. Do you know if it would be possible to cut the rack's bed rails down to fit in front of the toolbox?

Thanks for the help

I love the Prorac. Its very sturdy and can hold a great deal of weight if you needed it to. Im sure they could be cut down to size or maybe look into buying one for a midsize truck with a shorter bed. The rails are universal for different vehicles so im sure it would still work fine if you found shorter tracks.

not to be a bother/pain, but can you post a picture of how the mounting bracket fits/works/clamps to the bed rail, mainly where the tonneau cover rail/clamp is.

I'm curious to see how it mounts and fits around the tonneu cover mounting and clamps. I tried searching around online and I only found the installation instructions, but they weren't that clear.

Thanks again.

It attaches similar to a tonneau cover with clamps and "L" type brackets. However I felt uneasy with this because the rack clamps between the cover and the bed rails with only the tonneau cover clamps holding it and the cover on. So I bolted it through the top of the bed rails. I had no problems with the plastic rails cracking and the system is extremely secure without me worrying.
