My dealer told me 2 1/2 hours to install at 100.00 per hour, on top of 228.00 for the kit. I guess I'm going aftermarket. Wouldn't it be nice if all dealers got the same training?

Remote Start on XL is this the hood switch?
Hey guys is this the hood switch? If your standing in front of the truck its on the right hand size right behind the air filter. I have a 2011 SuperCrew XL. I am going to purchase the base remote start kit with the 2 new keys from my deal for $228.57 and install it myself and have them reflash it. I just want to confirm if this is indeed the hood switch so I know if I have to buy one or not.
Thanks

Going to order this today little cheaper than tasca I think and I believe their shipping is backed up due to the storm. Can someone verify that I am getting the one with two new keys?

Keep on posting guys. Planning on getting the Bi Directional 200 Series - Plug N Play-Part No: BB5Z-19G364-C for my 2011 XLT. For those of you who have or will be installing it yourself, I would like to know if there was any glitches or was it a piece of cake. If you took it to the dealer, how long did it take to install it? Thanks.
