Can you add the Drone mobile to the factory remote start?

Default System - Bi Directional 200 Series - Plug N Play-Part No: BB5Z-19G364-C

Hello im new here. I bought the Bi Directional 200 Series - Plug N Play-Part No: BB5Z-19G364-C from http://www.lombardfordaccessories.co...EN=88673080..I also bought the hood switch But i didnt need it had one on the truck so check before you order.. I installed the System - on my 2011 F-150 that i bought august 1st .took it to the dealer i bought the truck from and they hooked to the IDS and turned it on and now it shows the remote start in the message center now and you adjust from there. ..Its freakin Awesome. Its very easy to install. A couple of people said the 2 stage shock sensor sucks...well you have to mount it high in the dash above the glove box on the tube pipe cross member. strap it tight so it can sense vibration from the entire truck .It works great tap on the window and get a warning beep from the horn hit a bit harder and full horn beeps. I put the LED in the pop out panel in that is in front of the drivers side defrost vent. i ran the program button to the center kick panel at the floor left it in there for easy access. mounted the control unit with the Velcro tape supplied right by the TPM module. All plug n play very easy..... From my apartment i can start the truck that is around the front of the building across the parking lot and down a bit...AWESOME ... after it starts the remote beeps to let me know it started ..and a green light flashed every about 10 seconds to let me know its running.....Also you have to activate the alarm part after you are done with the IDS. If anyone needs to know how to activate the alarm Or if you have any other questions let me know...... Cheers

Has anyone installed any of these on an XL yet? Mine came with factory keyless entry so I'm guessing it will work. local dealer didn't know anything about them, but did some research and said that they could activate it for $30. (I told them I was going to install it myself). just want to make sure it will work on my truck before I order it.

BIGGUY.... do you have the actual operating instructions for the series 200..?? Curious to know if it does shut off while running on Remote Start and you open a door..?? I seem to recall reading a complaint about the glitch.

Also, does it allow you to click remote and then pull key out with engine still running and leave vehicle- running into store wthout having to shut off and then engage remote.??

Love to hear anything else you have experienced with that unit..!!

Default remote start

Hi Gang
I am new here but have been lurking for a couple of days. I was looking for info to install new remote start on my 2011 f150(new last week)
I purchased from local ford store Part # BC3Z-19G364-A
It installs in minutes and comes with 2 new fobs and the dealer cut them when I purchased the kit $250 plus tax for everything Retail in Canada is $310 but you can usually get trade pricing with a little convincing
I will have it turned on at the dealer tomorrow and will Probably pays $30 or so. I used the instructions provided here as there are none in box and it was really slick. Keys program from the owners manual and I now have 4 keys which is convenient and it is a great deal.
If you just wanted keys you would spend well over $100 each at dealer
Thanks for all the help
Cheers
Andy

I also picked up the kit today, they cut the keys for free in parts dept.
I installed it in 5 minutes as everyone says.

Couldn't get the service department to enable it for me with IDS because they were working on making new keys for some woman that only had 1 key. Apparently that takes "hours" to do and they only have 1 IDS!

Of course I also got the deer in the headlight look when I was explaining to the "service adviser" what I needed from them.
I don't think they have done any of these PnP units before...

They told me minimum charge for my 5 minutes of their time is $50.
Better than the $150 I got quoted down the street from another dealer down the street.

Wish I ordered from Tasca now since I would probably have saved $50.

So my charge for IDS to enable remote start is $58.99 - $25 website coupon = $33.99 + tax.

$280 total for the ikt remote start.
I'm happy.

This is the version with 2 new keys.
DOES NOT SHUT OFF WHEN DOOR OPENED.

No the truck does not shut off when i open the door or when you step on the brake.
And no you can not switch from the truck running to remote start.
Also I found you dont have to pre-set cooling or heating/ defrost. the A/C or heat/ defrost can be off and it will still turn them on. You can set that up in the message center. the system will sense if its hot or cold out.

I think it is over 80 it cools, below 60 it heats, in between it uses your last setting when you were in vehicle.
Pretty cool that.
When you turn key to ON position it will go back to your last setting.

I'd forget to turn the heat on half the time in my old vehicle, woke me up when I got in heading to work in a freezing truck.

I think the 200 Series PnP it will be for me..

I'll order from Josh at Tasca and once I get it installed and working, I'll report back with as much info as I can..
