It is 2011 only for these units.

Your 2010 is standard splice type remote start I believe.

Also both versions integrate into dash on these.
That is why we need dealer computer.

Sad that I go there in person and they want full retail + $100 install costs.

Guess I might be better off ordering it online.

Dealer still has to be involved to enable it. Not bad 100 bucks to install if you do it yourself I'm sure they are going to charge you enable cost anyway after you install it

I emailed Josh at tasca, and he gave me a quote for the 3 Plug-n-Play remote starter:

Remote Start System - Bi-Directional 100 Series - Plug n Play Part No: BT4Z-19G364-A $229.90

Remote Start System - Bi Directional 200 Series - Plug N Play-Part No: BB5Z-19G364-C $273.90

Remote Start System - RPO Plug-in-Play Kit -Part No: BC3Z-19G364-A$176.00

I'm leaning towards the Series 200 unit that fully integrates into the dash electronics, etc.. However, the RPO unit does have the advantage of the IKT key all in one...and also saving a few $$$

I hope someone in the forum has the series 200 unit installed and can give me some feedback...

All of them will show up on the dash with the settings and stuff, and all of them require dealer to "turn it on" even if you install it.
200 series is remote start + alarm.
100 series is two way remote start 1000ft range or something with a separate fob
RPO is like factory remote start includes 2 keys.

I'm trying to decide if the 200 series is worth it for using the normal remote start keys.
Does it get better range compared to the normal remote start when using the 4 button keys?
How good is the range on the normal remote start?

Good price on the 100 series. That what I have. 5 minute install and dealer turned it on for $30. That took 5 minutes also. You then set it up using the dash display. Works great.

What I would love to get access to is the operating/information documentation for the 3 units...Nowhere in the available information to date does it say that the RPO unit or the series 100 unit are programmable from the Driver Info Center... however, it does say that the 200 series unit works from more than 3 football fields away (1000 ft) same as the 100 series unit, unlike the 300 ft for the RPO unit

ANyone have an idea where to get online info on systems like these remote starters..??
