I just put the bi-directional factory remote start in mine. My dealer sold it to me for $225 and $30 to turn it on. I installed in about 5 minutes. I have spent that much in the past to have a basic $40 remote start installed. The factory one is far superior. Plug and play. Not sure it is that easy on any years besides the 2011. Range is supposed to be 1,000 feet but some have verified 1,200 feet with no obstructions.

This is very fast two way install, it looks easy.

I'd rather install myself so hopefully they don't charge me crazy money to turn it on.
Guessing me putting it on wouldn't be covered under warranty?

Does anyone have PDF instructions for the two way install?
Can't find anything on accessories.ford.com.

Just put mine it, I didn't get the bi-directional, I went with the two new keys. Works great, installed in about 5 minutes in the dealership parking lot and the service guy took about 5 minutes to activate it and program the keys.

After looking at more pictures I now see what the other wire is that was confusing me.

Two little boxes to install.

Calling dealers today for quotes.

Is there anywhre to get the operating instructions/features for these units... other than the short writeup in the ford accessories site..??

Sure would be nice to understand the features and benefits in greater detail than just the sales info.??

I'm debating between the cheapest one to give me basic remote start features with All-in-one key, or going with the series200 model, and have all the "bells and whistles" in the dash display, etc..??

Any help out there..?? Has anyone installed/got experience with the Series 200 system..??
