Default 2011 F150 thumping noise drive line??

I have this problem that is driving me nuts! My 2011 4wd Screw Platinum makes an occassional thumping or clunking noise when accelerating. Doesnt do it all the time but but rather every so often. Does not occur under hard accelertion but usually between 30-50 mph. I have taken the truck to the dealer but no correction and they don't seem to know what it is. Anybody have this problem or a correction?

If those u-joints are bad after only 4,000 miles, Ford and i are gonna have a problem. And that would be covered under warranty....

I have the same problem on my 2010 f150. 4x4 5.4 v8
Took it to deal with them finding no problems. It happens usually after driving on hightway for a while. Come to a stop and accelerate and the thumping starts. Gors away after accelerating above about 30 mph. I thought it was brakes but kind of ruled that out.

Default 30-50 mph thumping

I have the same issue. It used to be very intermittent but it is now occurring much more frequently. I have an Ecoboost motor and assumed for a while the noise was associated with the turbo system. Based on this thread, the problem seems to be unrelated to the motor.

Has anyone else fixed this issue?
