If Ford could program my truck to a 33" tire, I'd be on the money with 285/70-17's. But I don't think they can.

Done! 285/65/R18. Believe it or not, it can be done. No need to verify. There's no reason to believe they would lie to me and pretend to do it. They've done trucks way bigger than mine.

I find it funnt that people will drop a cool grand to replace tires because they don't like the way the stock ones look but balk at dropping a couple hundred for a programmer and custom tunes.
You will be able to do so much on your own with a programmer even if you dont get tunes.

The OP, myself and a few others in this thread have EBs and were hoping the dealer could program for larger tires because there are no other options yet. The 5.0 guys don't have to rely on the dealer IF they want to risk running a programmer.

I own a repair shop and a ids and reprogramed my 20 inch tires to the raptor 315-70-17 and checked on a gps right on it dosent matter on rim size pcm is calibrated to tire diameter any 16,17,18,20 inch 35 will work on raptor setting and if you know your tire diameter you can adjust to different options accordingly. You just have to know factory tire specs.

How does this help answer the question if dealers can program to a non-stock tire size, like a 33" or 34" tire?
Sounds like we finally have somebody (tulegit) who had the dealer reprogram for a non-factory size tire on a 2011, 285/65/R18 (32.6") tires. I know you said in your opinion it doesn't need to be verified, they have done larger, etc... but it still would sure be nice to have verification. Do you not have a GPS? Or a something like an iphone with a GPS built in? Or do a stopwatch timing of a few mile-markers on the highway?

So you are saying that you had factory size tires on 20" wheels, and you used IDS (latest versoin?) to reprogram your truck to another factory size tire, 315/70-17, the stock Raptor size. And that wheel size doesn't matter which we already knew.
