Default 2011 F-150 5.0 Coolant

SO The time has come for me to fix my coolant reservoir leak with the kit from Pegasus. I figured since i was at it, I would replace the coolant in the radiator. So my question is has anyone used the O'Reilly's Universal (yellow) coolant in there trucks?
Good? Bad? Comments?
Or should i spend the extra and get the Motorcraft Specialty Orange?

You want DexCool compatible coolant. I know its a GM marketing term, but its the same stuff, trust me.

Idk about the universal stuff, but I prefer to stick with OEM style.

Idk about sales at other auto parts stores, this price seems high to me. I bought the prestone dexcool when i flushed my system.

Spend the extra little bit, nothing beats OEM and Ford STRESSES to use OEM Ford Motorcraft Speciality Orange Coolant.
Also, while your at it,take a look at the Y coolant connector, early years 5.0 V8 Y connectors are known to leak just like the early years 5.0 V8 reservoir leaks.

Agree with the above, you do not want to have a chemistry experiment going on in your cooking system. Stick with the OEM coolant and you know it will be compatible.

With today's modern engines and cooling systems I'd stick to OEM. That's what I did. Call around and find the best price at each stealership

Why fool around, run what it's designed to run.Same philosophy goes for oil (5-20 for the 5.0 V8)
