Default 2011 EB Lift/Lower Question

Hi all,

I've got a 2011 EB Lariat 4x4. I did a search for this, but didn't come up with anything.

What I'd like to do is have a cab-mounted control to either raise, lower, or put the suspension to stock height, through an air bag suspension. This project has the following goals (are they realistic?):

1. Lower ride height for in-town driving, leading to better handling and less roll.
2. Lower ride height for highway trips, better MPGs?
3. Raise ride height for foul weather (snow) for more clearance.

Sorry in advance, as I've never lifted nor lowered a vehicle.

Also, these mods must not hinder the payload capacity of my truck, as I use all of its rated hauling capability on a regular basis.

Thanks,

-John

All can be done. Bag it. Be prepared to spend atleast 5 grand if you aren't doing the work yourself. I would advise this if possible because there will be more upkeep than a stock or lowered suspension. Doing it yourself you will be able to work on it. If not do your homework finding the right shop. Not all shops that say they can do the work really can. Done wrong and the truck could end u at scrap yard. Our trucks are killer laid out on air.

Yeah, I don't have the space, tools, or knowledge to do it myself

Pardon my n00bness, but what extra upkeep would the suspension need?

Finally, how would it end up at the scrap yard? If the shop channels the frame rails wrong or something?

Again, short of reading on here and looking at pics of the lifted and lowered trucks, I know nothing about it.
