Default 2011 adding backup camera?

Searched here and other forums trying to figure this out.

Everyone says 2011 is different than other years for the wiring but they don't list what the wiring is for 2011!

I have a bunch of wires with a 16 pin harness plugged into my current mirror. Trying to figure out if any of these are for camera so I know what I need to order.

Anyone have the wire colors and locations for 2011?

I'm assuming it is probably wired in my headliner harness but want to be sure I have the right wires there and work my way to the back of truck.

Hmm I thought that wiring was for the switch thing for your rearview mirror at night to stop glare from headlights behind you. I am also interested ins rear backup camera.

I am sure a willing dealer can help you. In my search for my truck I was quoted 750 to add the factory camera to a non-equipped one.

Here are the parts I used on my 2011:

Mirror (inside with RVD) BU5A-17E678-CD
Camera (Tailgate) harness AL3Z-14A411C
Bezel (Camera) AL3Z19H511A
Rear Camera AL3Z19G490A
Name Plate (Ford Logo) 9L3Z-1542528-A
Screw & Washer Asy. N805949-S439
Insert (For above screw) W714711-S439

I got my mirror and connector on eBay, also purchased a 5 pin round weather-pack connector and crimping tool on eBay. I used the weather-pack in place of the ford connector below the tailgate because my truck didn't have the wiring to the display and I ran my own (2 wire 18 AWG twisted pair cable purchased from Altex Computer and Electronics) http://www.altex.com/ The other 3 connections on the 5 pin plug were, shield drain, power and ground. Because I ran my own wire and omitted the computer connection I don't have the ability to zoom the camera image or the option to turn the guide lines off, but those two items don't make a different to me. Hope that helps. If you need more specific wiring info let me know. I still have the wiring diagrams and connector pin locations from my project.

Any chance you know the size of the screws needed? or a picture of them?

I have a 2011 Ecoboost FX4 with sunroof and cloth interior....
The camera, mirror, and camera harness can be had on ebay for like $350. Make sure you ask for 2011 parts when you order. Name is Niles-something can't remember full name. I also needed the Headliner Harness bl3z14335pcb $43.63 and the main body harness (this took forever to get number) they will say all trucks have the correct one but they do not. BL3Z14405DGA $127.09 From Tasca

I found this image on a forum, not sure which one but it shows the screws. Not sure of the size, but the heads are 7mm.
