Just a drop or two but, it hadn't been started for a day and I do live in a very dry area.

I just bought a new 2012 3.7L F150 XLT and glad I saw this post because I am having issues with the transmission shifting hard sometimes aswell. It also acts retarded when I'm steady cruising it at around 40 and I accelerate, it kicks hard into 5th gear. Also when I'm in traffic and constantly slowing, stopping, and going, it will get have a hard time going back up in gear after slowing down and downshifting. I told the dealer today and they told me to bring it back on monday so they can take a look at it, he also said it might just be a programming issue. I just wish I would've known, or noticed it on the test drive, about this before I bought the truck :/. Has this happened to anyone else right after they purchased it? Or did it take months on ya'll?

Perhaps we need to have big Lemon body wraps or stickers done and everyone drive around with them on their doors or park across the street from your dealership. Class action lawsuit? Everyone chip in and lets make a commercial ... No power when trying to get resolution by yourself ...

Paint it yellow with some water based paint and have a nice vinyl banner printed up with "Lemon" printed in about 18" letters and park it across from your favorite dealership for a day or two. Bet someone might want to talk to ya fairly soon.

I feel bad for some of you. Everyone I have spoke with (following me opening a case with Ford Customer Service) is very willing to talk to me. The GM of the dealership has been calling me every couple of days to update me on fixes they performed on other trucks, which obviously haven't solved the problem. He is really pushing me to trade it in on a 5.0L. This wouldn't be an even trade, but at a loss for me.

As of right now, my problem is that everyone is ONLY willing to talk. Nobody has even looked at my truck, much less pull it into a bay and try to fix it. My first attempt at repair was a reflash back in the middle of December, whch they didn't give me any paperwork for, so I guess it never really happened.

This mess is really gonna give Ford a black eye if it ever makes it public. It truely is a shame because, IMHO, the F150 is the best half ton truck on the market right now.

If you haven't done the 12-2-10 reflash I would get it done. It isn't a fix all for everyone but it did fix the 55-60 shudder in my truck. I haven't noticed it in quite some time now. I've got around 2000mi since the reflash. From the start it was considerably better but I could still feel it a little bit and sometimes it was just what I would describe as one big miss toward the bottom of the hill and then it was fine. Only did this a couple times and now it has cleared up and gone away altogether. There is still the low speed shudder and the water in the intercooler thing, but I'm fairly happy with my truck now.
By the way, my truck has never thrown any codes yet either and all that has been done has been computer related, NO hard parts have been replaced.

I'd say so.

The Eco-boost already looks pretty bad in the Dodge and Toy-odor forums.-

When the FoMoCo was out in BaHa, they shoulda paid less attention to the engine and more to the tranny.

Hardly any articles back when they were heavily touting the F-150's new turbo'd engine even mentioned the tranny.

Didn't they blow a tranny when they were doing the 24 hour max towing test on the track?

Default Shudder problem

Just spoke with customer care, Courtney she advised the TSB 12-2-10 wasnt for the shudder issue. They are clueless to fix this. Everyone call customer care and document who you spoke with and their reply. I agree with everyone else, they are stalling and waiting for our warranties to expire.

She did advise someone would call me back, I will post any info I learn.
