I take my truck in for an oil change tomorrow. Hope they can do the fix for me also. Does anyone know if this will also fix the loss of power when you pull out to pass?

Mine is also going in the shop in the morning, dropping it off at 7am. The service rep where I bought the truck was unaware of this TSB but was very considerate and looked up the info while I was on the phone with him. He said mine, with the 8-30-11 build date, falls under the Catalytic Converter replacement also but he would have to order it. I hope this resolves the issues that everyone on here has been having.

UPDATE on TSB
I have never posted on here before but have been reading this site since I changed to a new Lariat+ EB 157” in Nov 2011. I have a little over 5k on it now. I have had the Suddering/Misfire problem for about a month & 1/2 now. Mine has been doing it from low speed up to 55-65mph. I am in New Bern NC close to the coast so you guys that have felt this on hills I do not experience. Mine does it just normal driving and real bad when pulling a boat. Any way took it to the dealer today for this reason and my electric seat wants to act crazy but mainly they did the new TSB 12-02-10 today and said that is ran good today. Had to leave it with them tonight so I am not sure if it fixed but I have high hopes. One thing that the SM said is when they did a Mode6 on the computer it showed no misfires/ backfires and that blow me away. All this time the noise that I have been hearing sound like it was coming from the exhaust pipe area so I am very confused now. I will report on this again after I get it back tomorrow. I know how frustrated some of you guys are and I hope this is the fix. I have had four Tundra’s before this Ford and I changed because of my Research and the CEO so it is important to me that I made a good decision. I also want to THANK each one of you that take the time to post information on this site, it has been a great help. RET U.S Army 1SG
